Dwight Merrick (born 20 May 2003) is a Jamaican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder in the Jamaica Premier League. A product of Jamaica College High School, Merrick began his senior career with Mount Pleasant FA before moving to Dunbeholden FC in February 2024, where he spent two seasons developing his game. In the summer of 2025 he joined Montego Bay United, and his impact has been immediate and emphatic — scoring 11 goals in just 10 appearances in the 2025/26 JPL season, announcing himself as one of the most dangerous midfielders in the league. Merrick earned his first senior Jamaica call-up in 2026, making his international debut in a friendly, and looks set to become a regular fixture in the Reggae Boyz setup.
