Reggae Boyz in CONCACAF club competition

The Concacaf Champions Cup game between Deportivo Saprissa and Philadelphia Union on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at Ricardo Saprissa Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica, ended with Philadelphia Union winning the game by 3-2, with a hat-trick from Julian Carranza. Deportivo Saprissa scored at the beginning and the end of the game, but could not overcome the Union’s comeback.

For the Philadelphia Union, Reggaeboy Damion Lowe was at center back. He received a yellow card in the 67th minute for a foul against fellow ReggaeBoy Javon East. He played the entire game. He also played in the Union’s previous MLS game against Chicago Fire, where they lost 1-0

Andre Blake was in goal for the Union and made four saves. He also conceded two goals, one of which was an own goal by his teammate Jakob Glesnes. He played the full 90 minutes of the game. He also played in the Union’s previous MLS game against Chicago Fire, where they lost 1-0.

Javon East was a substitute for Saprissa and came on in the 56th minute. He did not score or assist in any goals, but he had one shot and one key pass. He also completed 75% of his passes and made one tackle. He played as a center-forward.
